The discount will be offered up to 30 days prior to the date of the event, is based on availability and may require a two night stay. There is a $5.00 parking fee. Also you can go on line and find hotels near by at a lesser rate, but you might want to start looking soon, as it is the summer time in San Dieg.
The charge includes a buffet, music and dancing.

A few alumni met and threw ideas around. Here is what we are thinking for the reunion.
Why: Cuz we've all had enough time to get into trouble and do crazy things to have good stories to tell!!!
When:Friday through Sunday in Mid to Late September (This way we h...ave a better chance of having a sunny Sunday)
The Plan:3 Day Event
Day 1 (Fri) - Evening Happy Hour at a local bar/restaurant in SD
Day 2 (Sat) - Evening Formal Event at a hall in a local hotel/venue (Class of 2000 Alumni Only)
Day 3 (Sun) - Day Picnic at a local park (Class of 2000 Alumni and Family)
Time-line:
Now - May 15
1) Get Feedback on ideas from Class of 2000 (Speak by May 15 or forever hold your peace)
- Will September work for people? (Especially people that are out of town?)
- Are people willing to attend all 3 events?
- Consider that however many events we choose, we will all share the cost
- Consider that we will be collecting money in June
- Consider that we will be fund-raising in May
- We plan to have an estimated cost around late May
- Does anyone know someone who is willing to donate money for or sponsor our reunion? (Business/Family/Yourself?)
- Does anyone have hookups on any of the following:
- Venue for Bands to Perform at for a Fund-raising Event
- We have a band that is willing to help us out.
- Bars/Restaurants for Happy Hour
- Hotels/Venues/Mansions/Etc. for Formal Event
- Catering/Food/Alcohol for Formal Event
- DJ/Music/Bands for Formal Event
- Party Rentals (Tables, Chairs, etc.) and Decorations for Formal Event and Picnic - Jumper/Inflatables/Slip-N-Slide/Etc. for Picnic
- Any other hookup that will help with any of the events.
Important: Please provide the contact info for any and all hookups. We need this to confirm prices and make reservations.
2) Contact People and Spread the Word (No student left behind!)
- Collect contact info for all students and reach out to them so that everyone is aware of the plans and can provide feedback.
- Everyone tell the people you stayed in contact with to sign-up on Facebook join our group page “Chula Vista High School CLASS OF 2000!!!” (This will be our main source for all updates and accountability), you can also sign up on http://chulavistahighschool.org/
3) Collect Information about All Students
*We want to put together a reunion booklet with the following info:
- Where do you live?
- Where do you work? What do you do? Can you give discounts to Class of 2000 students?
- Are you married, engaged, dating or single?
- Do you have kids? How many?
- What is your quote for the last 10 years of your life?
(We all had senior quotes but I bet these will be better!)
- Provide any pictures you would like to share
(Everyone should at least send one in or we will get one from Facebook!)
