"Joyce and I were best friends for a while and she eventually became a contact person for a singing group called the Spats; Fan Club. We all went to the Methodist Church on 3rd and J (since torn down). At the church we had a large group of people we knew including the Dohmeyers. We both babysat for the youngest sons. We all had a lot of fun with the music revolution and the "British Invasion"."
